disabling factory alarm?

Getting really annoying now, every once in a while the horn will honk and lights go up and down, like the alarm is going off. Then it'll stop. Then go on again.

Is there any way to disable the factory alarm without losing functionality of the horn?

Yes... simply ground the hood pin switch. This can be found in the driver's kick panel. CPU #2 and wire BR/Y ... if you have questions then e-mail or get my number from Gotham.

Thanks spyfish, I'll try that tomorrow if I have some time.

I've had to remove the horn relay so now just the lights flip up and down and I'm not annoying my neighbors at 3 am from my horn randomly honking.

Already got one..

One of the rare people that everything still works after plugging in the Power FC. Even the AC on all speeds!
