Disable the DT at the solenoid itself

Well as I was removing the extension manifold I managed to break off the horizonal nipple on the double throttle solenoid. Sh*t! So I would like to go ahead and disable the DT altogether instead of removing the rats nest and changing it out. My question if how is this done at the solenoid? Can I just plug up the hole where the nipple used to be and thats it? I know most people plug the line going to the actuator but since my solenoids nipple is broke i dont have that option. I definately want to leave the electrical connection, butterflies, etc for now. I don't want the ECU to "know" it's gone. I made a diagram and it looks to me like I may have no choice but to connect it back to the solenoid, then disconnect at the actuator. I hope I'm wrong. Any help or opinions on this would be truly appreciated. Thanks.

When I broke my nipple (boy that hurt ), I simply capped off the nipples on the front and back of the throttle body. Follow the lines from the solenoid if you are unsure which nipples to cap off.

My nipples were capped of for at least 4 years with no adverse effects.

Really? Wow hmm... that's an idea I hadn't though of. I did consider capping off the one at the back of the solenoid (as that seems to be the "master"). I guess I hate to keep tearing it apart until I get it right :-)

The double-throttle has it's own check valve and line to the manifold. You can disconnect that hose and cap it at the manifold, just as Adam described. No perverse self-mutilation necessary.

The ECU only knows if the solenoid is connected, since it detects electrical resistance only. The other lines running to the DT actuator are irrelevant.

I know you guys know what you're talking about. I'm going to just do that then.

So the leaking air/vacuum at the broke nipple won't affect anything?

It's a dead end so there is nothing to leak.

Just cap at the manifold and you're done.

UPDATE:

It works great with the double throttle solenoid bypassed! Thanks to all here who helped. I figured I would post a diagram showing exactly what I did just in case someone else goes through the same thing.
