The Saab part has been discontinued for years. I tried to find one about 3 years ago, without success.
I bought mine from www.egauges.com I think it was about $30. Mine is made for some kind of VW (I don't remember which one. The gauges hold it in place. They have an 800 number on their website for more info.
"Sonny" bought a plastic one that snaps into place. It's thinner that mine. PM him for more info.
Here's a pic.

Omori makes 2 different DIN panels. I have the clip-in metal version on my VR4 and the plastic version with DIN rails on my FD.

Only problem I ran into is that the FD doesn't have any inserts in the din slots so theres nothing to bolt or latch onto. I had to get some custom DIN mounting hardware to make it work properly. I can take pics if you like, but it seems as if you've already got something going on ;P

^ that carbon fiber one actually tucks in well. It doesn't look like the gauges stick out much. Can you explain how it works? Does it just tuck in, clip in, screw in get weighted in by the gauges?
This Omori DIN 3-gauge kit below shows parts that will hold it in
Here is VW Jetta 3-gauge DIN plate but no kit?
Here is their latest VW Aluminum multi peice 3-gauge DIN kit
Unfortunately only VDO gauges tuck in flush.
