DIN Gauge Panel Search...

I tried to order the SAAB DIN gauge panel part #0273235 from Saabparts but they tell me its discontinued. Does anyone else have a source for this part or possibly a new part number? Thanks...

The Saab part has been discontinued for years. I tried to find one about 3 years ago, without success.

I bought mine from www.egauges.com I think it was about $30. Mine is made for some kind of VW (I don't remember which one. The gauges hold it in place. They have an 800 number on their website for more info.

"Sonny" bought a plastic one that snaps into place. It's thinner that mine. PM him for more info.

Here's a pic.

Nice find. I have tried the Jetta one from egauges and it kind of fits. Its a little too wide but can be modified. I bet this one would fit pretty well. I would think the Miata DIN slot is the same size as the RX7. I think you should get one and let us know how it fits .

Omori makes 2 different DIN panels. I have the clip-in metal version on my VR4 and the plastic version with DIN rails on my FD.

http://www.j-spectuning.com/index.php/cPath/21_24_36

Only problem I ran into is that the FD doesn't have any inserts in the din slots so theres nothing to bolt or latch onto. I had to get some custom DIN mounting hardware to make it work properly. I can take pics if you like, but it seems as if you've already got something going on ;P

What about these for $40 shipped? Carbon Fiber on one side, ABS textured plastic on the other.

^ that carbon fiber one actually tucks in well. It doesn't look like the gauges stick out much. Can you explain how it works? Does it just tuck in, clip in, screw in get weighted in by the gauges?

This Omori DIN 3-gauge kit below shows parts that will hold it in

Here is VW Jetta 3-gauge DIN plate but no kit?

Here is their latest VW Aluminum multi peice 3-gauge DIN kit

Unfortunately only VDO gauges tuck in flush.

Recieved the Thompson Panel and it fit perfectly. It has locking tabs on the side so you dont need to use tape. The plastic is a nice match to the existing interior.
