For some reason my gauges and dash lights are extremely dim. And no it's not the dimmer switch, the dimmer switch works fine but even when it's all the way up the in-dash gauges and the AC panels and all are still really dim. I know it's not the bulbs cause it's a uniform dimness, not just in one area like would be the case with a bad bulb. The CD receiver is really bright so it's gotta be something with just the dash. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance. It's been this way aslong as I've had the car so it's not just a new problem.

I'm thinking it might be some wiring somewhere that's not properly grounded or something, but have no idea where to start. Any ideas or thought about what might be the cause would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

check the tail fuse down by your clutch pedal and see if it's blown. my gauge lights didnt work at all but that was the problem.
