difference in the two different greddy 2row fmic

what is the difference between the 24 R spec and the 24 V spec intercoolers? Also, if i bought the V spec, can it be converted when i go single to the single setup using greddy piping?

I think the V-spec is the "current" version of the GReddy "2-row" FMIC..., vs the "older" version, called "R-spec"...?
