Difference between stock/aftermarket radiator and Greddy radiator?

Like the title says I’ve been looking for info on the difference between the stock/aftermarket radiators and Greddy radiator that comes with their V-mount kit. I personally have a Fluidyne radiator and I seen you can order the whole kit minus the radiator saving almost $1k. What I’m worried the most about is hose positioning and mounting. Worst case scenario, I’ll order the whole kit and sell my current radiator but of course I’m trying the save the most.
thanks in advance for the replies.

It's a lot of work to get a standard radiator to work in a V-mount. The inlets/outlets are moved, the radiator is redesigned so it doesn't trap air at the top, etc.

You will be way ahead of the game to get the kit with the radiator and sell your existing one. The amount of modification is significant.

There's a big thread on the Greddy V-mount, read through that, there's some pictures of the radiator and how it's mounted to give you an idea.

10-4 thanks for the reply. I guess that’s what I’ll be doing then. Thanks again.
