Difference b/ RX7 store trailing/toe links and rotaryextreme setup?

I see that rotaryextreme has these links and arms at their website.

What are the advantages to the rotary extreme set up that the RX7store set up doesn't have? I'd rather support the rx7store if the differences are minor or cosmetics.

The other thing I noticed with the rotary extreme is the radial loading of 7400 lbs which isn't all that high as far as heim joints are concerned.

Thats a good question. Chuck just finished his, maybe he can answer about the differences. Mine are exactly like the M2.

I have the RX-7 store toe links. Very well made, perfect fit...just like the M2's. No problems with it at all. Don't know about Chucks.

My Petit toelinks lasted about 10k miles

I am waiting for some new rodends Thank goodness for the forum, and people who post wear to buy replacement parts.

FWIW, the toelinks when working really tightened up the rear end

It seems there are a few to choose from.
K2rd
Rotary Extreme
M2
Pettit

I'm not sure which ones Jason has, I suspect they are K2rd, but I'm not sure.
I am curious as to which are better too, as this is my next modification.
I notice that Chucks have the option of some seals though, do the others have this?

I'd say it's too early to tell any difference since Chuck just finished production last week, and none of us buyers will even receive our RE components until late this week. Maybe in a few weeks someone can answer that question better..

Here are some differences:

1. The rods I use are solid. Most others are hollow

2. I offer different kinds of rod ends which has different load rating, wear resistance, and material.

3. Mine comes standard with rod end seals which will extend the life of pillow ball even longer. Stock ones come with the dust seals for a reason.

Re: Difference b/ RX7 store trailing/toe links and rotaryextreme setup?

The 7400 lbs is more than enough. The performance ones I use are the FK JMT series which is recommended for racing purpose.

If you want highers ratings, I have the 20,000 lb rated racing rod ends available as well.

To choose a rod end, you should be more concened on the wear resistance, not just the load rating. Generally, 3 piece rod ends are much better than the 2 piece one for wear resistance.

I am pretty sure Jason will sell my toe links and trailing arms if you ask him about it.

I went with Chuck's design. When I contacted him he seemed very knowledgeable, which quickly encouraged me to trust that his design is better than the other kits available. I'm looking forward to getting them.
