Make sure the parking brake is off and the transmission in in neutral.
Then you can turn one of the axles and see what is going on.
At which point you may need to disassemble and correct what is wrong.
Been there, done that. Better to take it all apart now and get it right.

Get the car up on stands, drain the diff and pull the rear cover.

Ah, I thought you replaced the differential.
You bolted the whole pumpkin (diff case) and diff into your car.
In that case, there isn't anything you could have done to it, other than forget to put oil in it. You need to contact the seller and return it.

Yup, given that it's replaced in whole and the return must be in whole, I would just trade it in.
Of course I'm intensely curious as to what's in there, but it's up to the vendor whether they want to find that out.

Someone stuck a T2 diff in that housing. Stock 3rd gen diff's are torsen LSD's and open straight through where the axles are inserted as indicated in your pic. That stopper that you mentioned is the center pinion in a T2 diff. Someone may have inserted shims or oversized thrust washer to lock up the diff.
Most likely a aftermarket diff in there, and not a FD diff. Looks like my old Kaaz diff, it was not straight trough. But had a blockin in the "middle".
So i would say it's not a stock Torsen LSD.

Ok thanks for all the replies,i already swapped it with another one,and there is a huge difference compared to the stock one.Now i have a jdm trans with a.762 fifth and the diff is 4.3 compared to the 4.1 i had.For anyone who is interested in gaining acceleration especially with fifth gear and doesnt care about the increased fuel consumption is a must.
I have a series 8 JDM trans with the .806 5th and use a 3.909 diff.
Makes 1-4 gear a little taller for the 400+hp which reduces wheel spin and the shoter 5th has more accelereation.
