Did my throw out bearing clip pop loose?

Took a drive, pushed the clutch pedal, felt and heard a pop. Now the grab point of the clutch is on the floor and still slips when i press the pedal. I assume that stupid clip popped loose? Trans drop time?

Trans drop time.

Could be the wedge collar/wire ring that holds in the t/o bearing. Could also be a cracked clutch fork.

i guess a busted clutch fork makes sense. I love it, only 51k miles on her with an aftermarket clutch (don't know what one, but the pressure plate isn't hard at all)

There is also pulsing in the pedal. I assume this is from uneven fork pressure.
This gives me a good excuse to fix the 5th gear sync.

If the wedge collar did pop out, the slave cylinder will not be able to make contact with the fork. That will cause your fluid will dump all out (don't ask how I know). If you don't see any fluid leaking, then it's most likely something else.

driving home was real fun today. Only 4 miles, but I hit EVERY red light. Slamming it into first gear at every light was awesome.
