Did the 93-95 Rx7 ever come with a factory keyless entry?
Just curious. I know some Mazda vehicles had factor keyless entry remotes back in 94. Did the 3rd gen ever come with keyless remotes, or only a key to unlock the doors?

The series-6 (92-95) RX-7 did not get a keyless entry even in Japan. Back then the only Mazda I know of that had it was the 90-95 Cosmo.
I know the series-8 version (99-02) got it as an option as we see them here in the land of Oz every now & then as they get imported

I don't think it was an option... don't think many mazda's had that option at that time. My mom had a 93 mx6 all decked out with the v6 (rare for that year.) and she didn't have it. My dads supra )which was a 94 or 95) had it. But thats toyota not mazda.

I remember back when JT-Imports.com was still opened, he had OEM Mazda RX-7 (99+) keyless entry units for sale at $495 a pop (!!!). The buttons were built into the key itself..sorta' like the Volkswagen ones if you know what I mean. They may have been aftermarket units but Mazda used it as an official product...sorta' like how Mazdaspeed wheels (MAG-10's I think it's called) are Mazda official products but made by Rays Engineering.
