For a street driven car, I prefer stock bushings. They work perfectly well.

For a car that sees LOTS of track time, I'd say that poly bushings can be somewhat beneficial in some location.

I personally would only use Delrin bushings on a race car that will never see the street. Search the suspension section and this section for a multi page thread on the topic.

I have SuperPro's on my car and they really didn't affect the ride quality in a negative way too much. They were super easy to install also, most can be pressed in with a vice and minimal effort. I believe the Derlin bushings need to be lubed intermittently, but the SuperPro bushings only need an initial greasing and do not squeak. I do not have any first hand experience with the Derlin bushings, only the SuperPros.

How many miles do you have on the car, and have the bushings been replaced before?

I have the Power Flex FULL kit on my car. As well as IR Poly engine mounts. Ride quality is about the same. Car feels much tighter, and vibration is very minimal. Overall, well worth it. Definitely do your pillow ***** at the same time. Ray at Malloy Mazda will give you a good deal.

I have the unobtaniums, which are nylon so i'm guessing it's the same idea? They're a pain to maintain since you have to grease them (which means you have to put zerk fittings in your arms and pump grease into them). Once your suspension heats up, parts expand and instead of flexing, like rubber bushings (I'm not sure about poly), they slide and make loud popping noises. It also makes my rear end feel strange/loose.

I can say though that when everything is cold/tight, they feel pretty good.

I'm switching to superpros, so I hope they're better =).

I've replaced the oem pillow *****, am running the complete Superpro bushing kit, and have our IRP poly motor mounts.

Also Tanabe sustec pro s/s coilovers, cusco Ti front stb, axiom autosports rear stb, and am about to replace my oem R1 sway bars w/Tanabe chromoly pieces.

Very happy with the ride quality and handling of the car. The Superpros have exceeded my expectations. I don't recommend Delrin bushings for a street car.

Yea you got lucky. I'd been waiting forever lol.

Your other option would be powerflex. JKL might have a few of those but I wasn't able to get any info.

Jim's legacy lives on....I wonder if he helped design Windows Vista as well
