DEFI Link System....Amber Light?

I am about to order DEFI Temp, Oil Temp, and EGT...I know the DEFI D-Gauges light up amber and match stock...the Link System lights up green....

My question is...has anyone changed the bulb or done anything to the LINK System gauge to make it light up amber instead of green?

I like the warning light function on the Link System so I'd rather go with these...However, I want it to look stock...all in the name of style...

Yeah, yeah, I searched and nothing came up on this subject

I was worried about this also. Youll like the green.... trust me. Its a great contrast with the stock guages and they light up very bright. I would just leave them alone.

Where did you guys mount your computer for the gauges? Were they a pain in the *** to wire?

I've had my gauges on my dresser for like 3 months now.

I bought a 94+ integra 3 gauge pilar pod and hacked the **** out of it with my dremel tool...it fits pretty decent now and looks awesome......so I will have a column mount boost gauge, and then the gauges listed above in the a-pilar

A few people have said that I would whack my head everytime I get in the car...the position I am putting it in my head is nowhere close to it when I get in the car...also my hand is at least 3-4 inches away form the center pod so I wont whack my hand either...

...Now if I could only decide on which gauges to get...

here are my requirements for the gauges

- must match stock (most everyones requirement)
- have warning function
- in standard units of measurements
- 52mm to fit the pilar mount.

So far I like the Defi link system gauges but I want the damn lights in AMBER! I have never seen them up close and personal so I don't know if I can actually change the bulb or put somthing over them to cast an amber glow..

I just realized that you asked where to mount the "computer" NOT the "gauges"

I was reading a post earlier and someone mounted it behind the center console on the carpet with velcro...sounds feasable to me.

I mounted mine in the glove box. Required cutting it up a bit, but whatever. It's not the most convenient place, I'll admit, but I didn't want it just hanging out somewhere and I didn't want it visible all the time.

Mounted mine on the carpet next to my right leg with velcro. The rigid hook side of velco sticks to the carpet very well.

common doooodz, it's a "change the light colour" post, not a "where do I mount the computer" post....

NE 1 change the light in their Defi LinkSys gauges?
