datalogging EBC duty cycle

What I want to do is datalog the duty cycle on an EBC solenoid. I don't have one yet but I am thinking either Greddy Profec B Spec II or Apexi AVC-R. I've heard they use the same Denso solenoid.

I've never looked at the harness on those boost control solenoids. Is there just a 0-5v wire there that controls the duty cycle on the solenoid? Maybe 0 volts is fully closed (0% duty cycle right?) and 5volts is fully open (100% duty cycle). I'm thinking it's probably just 3 or 4 wires (power, ground, duty cycle? maybe ref voltage?) on the harness.

Has anybody ever tried this or know about how these solenoids work?

now that I think about it, if something is duty cycle controlled it by definition does not have a linear 0-5v signal like a temperature sensor. the duty cycle needs to be calculated. so I guess scrap this idea
