"Im about to buy a car that has a matching vin on the firewall, driver vin sticker and title but the dash has a different number. I believe the dash was replaced because of aging and tgats without puting in the old vin. fd dashboatds are old and discontinued from the factory. Would you buy the car? Vin matching in 3 areas title, firewall and driver vin sticker."

No, I would skip it. Messing with a VIN sticker is a federal offense, never know if the cops are going to come down on you for it. Also, if the person swapped he dash was lazy enough to skip swapping the VIN, imagine what else they might have missed..
