I'm using JP3 filter relocation bracket to the subframe and this filter:
That's pretty slick! I especially like that the replacement filter element is a spin-on similar to an oil filter, it meets 4 micron filtration and has enough flow to not restrict upgraded fuel pumps. I'm also using the JP3 relocation bracket, but with a different aftermarket FuelLabs filter installed. My FuelLabs filter has AN connections on each end (in-line style), and the same filtration/flow specs as this one. But filter element replacement requires a bit more work to take the thing apart to replace the filter element - a spin-on would be so much easier.
@DaleClark I have ZERO room to remove the second clip(feed side). I spent about 20 minutes on it before i called it a night. i think part of my issue is that i have the ST Mays exhaust which is two pipes and two canisters. So my question is this. i see in one of your photos you have a hand up there that appears to coming from a different area than the passenger side typical access. Is this how you removed the second clip on the feed?
MY other option is to drop the exhaust. Truthis its not much wider than if someone had a 3 inch exhaust but perhaps that one inch is just enough to wreck the angle. Or perhaps i need to come up on the other side?
