Thumbs up the cym project begins!!!

alrite fellas

as you all know (maybe) i purchased a cym with no engine or trans

well i finally decided that its time to get this thing started

heres wut i have so far



has engine trans and a good amount of aftermarket pieces

its RHD an was wondering if the harness can be used on usd cars?????

but i will eventually get a new harness frrom the dealership i work at

i would like everyone to take part in this, if you like and help a brotha out

i have never pulled a motor or trans but its worth a shot and theres no better

time than now

Holy ****, your car is doing a wheelie without even moving!

The fact that you have to get a new harness is actually a good thing. With it being new and installed by yourself, you will know everything is in perfect condition and working. Looks like a pretty fun project.

You can tell from the engine compartment paint that it is a real CYM. The factory only "fogs" on the paint on the side of the frame rails, etc. So if it were a different color originally and repainted it CYM you'd see the original color underneath the "fogged" CYM.

Otherwise if it were a repaint the engine compartment would be glossy.

That is a nice looking car, too bad about the sunroof but that shouldn't be too hard to fix. Good luck on it!

I wish my CYM was as put together as yours.

aiite fellas got more work done today

at about 3pm the clip came along with some goodies

i started work to get the motor pulled out before it starts pouring again

after 3hrs of work its out and ready for inspection
