The intallation is very simple and you should be able to figure it out. In my kit I had to improvise with the mounting of the smaller oval fog lights that came with the kit. It is not a very good solution to hang it off of a single srew in the back but, I glued some foam under the lights for support.

As far as mounting, once you remove the flip-up lights and motor assembly, the mounting of the fiberglass base is self evindent as to where the 4 bolts should go. If I remember, one of those bolts is not visible but, when you trial fit that base, you should get an idea where the bolt should be, reach into that hidden spot, use an 3" extension ratchet to take that bolt out and to put it back.

For wiring, I decided to use the small oval lights as my low beam and the round lights as my high beam. I have seen people here wiring it such a way that all four lights come on all the time. I really don't drive the car in the dark so, for me it does not matter.

I simply spiced into the factory light connector wires for installed lights. This way they work off the regular headlight swith both high and low beams and are protected by existing fuses.

Hope this helps,

Albert

I got the kit installed already.........it just i have alot of extra hardware that i have deemed unecessary........the kit was easy to install..........i am just curious to what this extra **** is actually 4??????.....now my main concern is the wiring because i dont want to rely on the little battery operated switches that are sketcky at best when it comes to switching from high and low beams......my question is.....can i leave the ballast in the on position via the remote.........and wire into my headlight relay allowing my lights to work as the factory ones did........including the switch on the steering column for the high beams??????........i gather from what u are telling me axr6 i can do this..
i would also like to know where to use the strips of 2 way tape.........its seems like a bad idea to use it between the carbon fiber piece and the plastic lens piece........it would be a bitch to remove the lense cover and would look like **** when the hood is open.....

I am thinking about doing this install tomorrow. I was curious if you have done it yet. If so, could you do a little how to guide? Also I am very curious about the wiring. How do i know what to splice into for high beams/low beams.

Any time you work with electricals you should purchase, at least, a cheap DC voltmeter or a voltage probe. Can get one for around $10 in any electronics oriented store or probably even in auto parts store.

Disconnect your factory headlight connector right near the flip-up ligths. Place one (red) probe of your voltmeter on the connector while place the other (black) lead of the meter on the negative battery post (or chassis). Now turn-ON your low beams and check which connector/wire comes hot with 12+ volts. Next turn on the high beam and use the voltmeter/probe to check for the same. This way you will know which Positive wire to splice into for which beam. Connect the other (black) leads from the lights directly to a good chassis bolt, which is the same as battery Negative. You're done.

Are you able to hook both lights onto the positive leads or just run the secondary lights off a relay and run a new lead to power it?

Anyone know where I can buy a set of C-West headlights? I called one place and they told me that the company that manufactures the actual lights stopped making them so they are no longer available. True?
