custom V-mount, how difficult?

custom V-mount, how difficult?
So I need to figure out an intercooler setup for my 35R w/ long runner manifold. I just recently realized my Large smic probably wont clear the turbo with long runner mani. I would rather not run a fmic if at all possible. If I were to get ahold of the intercooler from a re v-mount kit, how hard would it be to relocate the radiator and make some ducting? There is a local shop to weld the aluminum rad for me, I can weld some brackets to relocate it, so that would just leave the ducting and coolant hoses right? Does anyone have any links they could refer to me, im not looking for fabing the intercooler itself but more just fitting the rest of the stuff.

on mine we just made the coolant hoses solid, lined the bottom of the rad up with the bottom of the bumper, and the rest was pretty straight forward. i know i'm probably gonna get some **** for this, but honestly other than that i didn't do any ducting at all and i had steady temps allllllllllll summer long, normal driving/dragstrip/highway pulls you name it. just for peice of mine tho i am blocking off the sides over the winter to complete the project
few pics of it during the process that i have handy
used a spearco ic core and a universal fluidyne radiator, and 2 perma-cool fans underneath the rad

adictd, that looks great man. Do you have any pictures before the intercooler was mounted to show the brackets and coolant lines? I figured crazy ducting wasnt necessary to maintain decent temps, im just planning on doing some basic stuff with fiberglass or aluminum to channel a majority or the air in the right direction. I dont care if its the most efficient way, as long as it works thats good enough for me.

Specter328 - i can try to find a part number for you, i got the core years ago tho when i bought the car, the previous owner included it with the car, we had to rework the endtanks tho the inlet/outlet weren't in the correct places
93VRTouring - the brackets are square aluminum tubing

Specter328 - the CORE is 10.5" tall, 16" long, and 5" deep , did you want a measurement with the endtanks too?

Adictd2boost, nice set up! Is that the 19 row Gotham oil cooler set up? If so, I'm using the same. Was trying to set the coolers straight so they would be right in front of the openings but even with me eliminating one of the brackets, still have to slant them like yours. Man, I need to take a welding class!

specter328 - no prob
chinaman - thats a kit we put together using earls oil coolers and braided line / -an fittings, i found that it was a lil cheaper to come up with everything seperate like that. they appear VERY similar tho, so it could very well be the same coolers that they use
