Custom turbo to IC piping

It seems like everytime I look in my engine bay, I can't help but think that all of the piping and all of the crazy bends are bad for airflow. I saw a pic of this IC for a 300zx a while ago and I've had this idea ever since, and recently I've been thinking about really doing it.

My idea is: Instead of having a y-pipe, have 2 pipes from each turbo going directly into the SMIC or VMIC with 2 IC inlets. I don't run an airpump, so getting it to fit shouldn't be too much trouble, and I'm nonseq.

Does anyone see this being problematic? I was thinking that the rear turbo might have to spin slightly faster to spool because it would be a longer path. Does anyone know the size of the flange of the turbo outlets?

Or actually this is a pic of afgmoto1978's custom vmount and "y-pipe".

This was my original idea, but it seems like it would be hard to join the 2 smaller outlet pipes into 1 larger IC pipe. Makes the most sense to me since the piping is routed in the same direction at the "Y"
