Looks pretty cool, it isn’t as distinguishable like other FMIC's with that black core. Unique. Maybe someone will sleep on it thinking its a stock 7.

I have a friend who has made it for me. The thing I like the most is that I dont have to cut in the front, any frames or anything.

The Core is black from the beginning, I am thinking about painting it bright silver though.

lawn boy: Custom is cheaper and I hope also better, well se about that.

hmmm... i dunno how ur gonna pull off installin that thing without cutting out some serious frame of off your frontend. i just installed my rx7fashion front mount and i had to cut out alot. pressure drop is also gonna be a very serious factor for you if you plan on keepin the twins... good luck and nice job

That is one thick i/c!!!

Don't paint it! It will be alot harder for the fins to cool the air.

Yes.... do not paint it...
Is the core painted, powder coated or anodized? If anodized black.. that is fine and won't affect cooling.

Pressuredrop cause of the size?

I used an other IC last week and got a drop at 2psi. Its the black one at this pic, the in and outlet are bad and small, but it uses a HKS core.

Will even a thin layer paint affect?
