You can cut the port to whatever length you want and acrylic the bottom on with some reinforcement. It's the best cupholder I have ever had. Hope that helps. Here are the pics.

I'd love to have a cup holder in my car but oh well i just always buy bottles of soda that way i can just set it on the pass. seat and not worry about it.
I don't get how having a cup holder custom would make ur car not a real sports car i mean wtf people like to drink something while they drive too no matter what the car is, i say people just have an image problem if they think it will make the car not hardcore anymore i mean wtf.

it does look good, but i am pushed to go with the ones that are farther back because wouldnt HDP's design interfere with your arm? even though it may not be as deep(i just skimmed), could you use the same plastic piece from HDP's and just move it back farther?
does anyone else lay their arm down there when they are driving?

I do, my arm sits there pretty much at all times. I think it's a wonderful job, I can't knock it whatsoever. But I'm with ole boy above: I just buy bottles of whatever and throw it on the seat. It's just to easy.

Wow, you guys must be like Stretch Armstrong. I'm 6' with a 71" reach and it doesn't get in the way while I'm driving. Besides, if I'm doing any aggressive driving where it would get in the way, I doubt I would have a drink there anyway.
HDP, All looks good...I too can not see it getting in the way of my elbow, (Go sit int the car guys and see where you elbow is when you change gears)
Is there a possibility of putting twin holders side by side? Obviously the angle on the top would need to be filled on the outside..
