CUSCO Clutch

Hi
Anyone fitted a CUSCO hyper single plate clutch system to their car (clutch and flywheel). I'm having problems finding info on this. Need to know what is in the kit ie counterweight and bearings etc, and if its ok for street use. Is there a dealer in the US? I can't find one.
Thanks in advance
Martin

I was looking into getting a cusco clutch because I have to replace my clutch soon, but the only place I found to get one from was www.takakaira.co.jp and they want outragou prices, even though it is a good product, I simply don't have $1500.00 U.S. to spend on a clutch

The single plate is about $950 including the flywheel. I have to ship anyway as I'm in the UK so that doesn't matter. I also like the ACT setup and flywheel. Need to know if the CUSCO setup is ok for the street. Taka Kaira are not so good at 1. English and 2. answering questions. They have lots of nice things though.

Wow, I didn't know the single plate systems were only around 950.00 with flywheel, that's a pretty good price. Do you know how much hp the single plate one is supposed to be able to handle??? I know I definately need something that will handle around 450hp+ because I am planning on going single turbo. I personally am pretty sure I am going with an ACT clutch and JUN flywheel. Only reason I picked the JUN flywheel is because I trust their quality a little more. You are right about takakaira though, they aren't good at english or answering questions. If you do find anywhere to get the single plate system, do let me know as I would be interested to check it out.

I'd like to tell you. Its the sort of question that I want to know. The Taka Kaira web site has some info but its not all that clear.

Hi soul assassin
If your in Japan I'm guessing you can read Japanese. Any chance of having a look at the CUSCO web site (www.cusco.co.jp) and telling me what it says about the hyper single clutch system. There is no English version. I want to know if its ok for street use, what the disc material is, if the counterweight is included or the bearings. That would be a great help. Thanks.

Hey Alf, shush it! I just said "CUSCO!" because I like CUSCO. I don't know about their clutches, though ... just suspension and LSDs.
