I saw they won an award at the SEMA show this year (http://www.sema.org/showcase/semasho...e.asp?id=28061) and thought it might be an interesting thing to try out in my FD.
Maybe some cooler air when I'm on the drag strip in Indy this spring...

If dragracing is what you'd use it for, instead of getting an expensive and heavy onboard system, get an old CO2 fire extingusher and have a friend spray your IC with it just before you stage. Simpler, cheaper and no added weight.
This is not unlike some of the IC water spray systems and such... could be a great anti- heatsoak device for SMICs.
Anyone knowledgeable care to comment on how safe venting liquid CO2 at the IC, and ultimately into the engine bay, might be? Is it flamable? I'd hate to start some sort of engine bay fire with this.

Another thought:
If you suddenly fire this thing at your IC and effectively freeze it and drop your intake temps drastically in a few seconds, is the air intake thermosensor going to recognize this and compensate with fuel quickly enough?

I remember a few months back someone had one of those NX intercooler things (sprays nitros on your intercooler) and the temperature changed so quickly it couldnt add enough fuel and he poped his motor running lean...

I run a PFC, but this would worry me.... perhaps a water or alcohol sprayer would work better.
