CRV Piping: Hose or Plastic
Quick Question - the below pic reveals a "L" hose. I removed this from the turbo manifold, and after careful examination, it looked like it used to be like a normal hose like what is used for the BOV except that it had been hardened. Is this true or is it supposed to be a hard plastic material? I figured it might have hardened over time due to the heat and dried out....
Just a quick question, let me know your thoughts, thanks.

it is supposed to be soft like the one coming from the y-pipe to the bov. you should replace both of them at the same time and get some better clamps. if they you can rotate them around then they are too loose. you might be losing pressure out of these areas and making your turbos work harder.

You're right, after time the heat makes them hard like a plastic and they can crack very easy.
I had to take an exacto knife to mine for a while before it came off.
