Crshed it

This is a cross post from another forum I put this in:

I finished painting my FD this year:

Unfortunately I hit the back of a pickup.

I found a shop that was willing to work on it.
I bent the front apron down an inch, no frame damage to anything inside of the suspension geometry or chassis.
Fender, hood, headlight cover need to be replaced. The accident also damaged the leading edge of the door's paint.

I have a parts supplier to get them setup. So its been coming together nicely
(edit for rx7 club, Ray Crowe really comes in clutch!).

They laid the paint down like glass, they also agreed to do four coats.
They have some special anti static setup and gun that helps the process.

I'll post more once it is done.

It was a real bonehead move, my knee got caught on the steering wheel so my foot was hitting the gas and brake, even though I had the clutch in I wasn't able to put enough pressure on the brakes in this panic situation.

I think the new hood fit better than the old one.

Don't just clear coat the primer. You're supposed to put base coat over the primer then add the clear.

Looks good man.

Saiban. Both hoods were, but apparently the one I had, which I bought in January, is now discontinued so I got the other one.
