Crazy boost pattern in second??
I recently installed my pfc and I have been very happy with its control of my turbos. In every gear except second it holds the boost extremely well with little to no drop during change over. Currently Im programmed for about 11psi.
When I push the car in second it boosts right up to 11 and then starts to bleed down to 5 or so in several short bursts of the blow off valve. psst sst psst psst down to 5 and then stays there. It seems to try to get back to 11 but everytime the boost needle starts to go back up, psst...back down to 5. It only does this in second. Needless to say the car shudders a bit while this craziness is going on.
I have tried various throttle positions to see if it might be something I am doing with my foot...but it doesnt seem to matter whether its wot or not. It doesnt do this every time...but most of the time.
Any ideas? Buy new blow off valves?
Pettit cool charge 3, pettit intake, pettit down pipe, custom cat back, koyo rad. still have smog pump and main cat.

hmm good question I'll have to check. But this is during a hard run so the rpms continue to climb as the boost drops. I'll find the exact points and get with ya on it. Thanks

Update.....the crazy boost pattern happens in every gear when I push it to the floor. It starts at about 4.5 to 5 rpm and get progressively worse as the rpms climb.
