Hey everyone my car is going through mood swings or something. I got my car back from Pettit after upgrading my clutch, and the next day I got a check engine light, and the error code was the knock sensor, so I took off the alternator and sure enough it was broken in half. At the time I didnt have anything to fix it with so I spliced them back together as best as possible and the light went away, and the car was running good again. But then, I started to see that my boost was really strange. 1st gear, no boost at all until about 4000 rpm, 10-5-10 pattern. 2nd gear, no boost until about 3200 rpm, and 10-5-10,9,8,7,6,5 pattern (boost dropping). Remaining gears were the same, with no boost until after 3000 rpm. Also, my idle spontaneously changed from 1500 rpm steady, and about 18inhg (streetport), to between 800-750 rpm idle, a little bit fluttery, and 10-8 inHg. Is my car going nuts? No smell of coolant, no overheating, there was no loud bang, no bubbles in coolant. I'm running very rich though. What is causing all of this? I have gotten the Knock Sensor code and am having the same problems. Did you get your problem solved?
