what's on this screen?

Also, exactly what clutch and flywheel combination do you have?

oh,

I'm also running ACT street strip clutch w/ 13lb flywheel.

I do notice that the car jerks a bit when I start to give it a bit more gas, I'm guessing because I'm running really rich?

Update, I guess the timing thing with revving to 5k rpms was just a coincidence because after it reached operating temp, the timing was after I revved to 5k rpms.

I took it for a short drive today, and I noticed there was a bit of bucking when I drive it, if I ride the clutch though it doesn't buck. I guess it's because the clutch is still kinda brand new and it needs to be broken in?

Also, I was looking through my PFC settings, and I come to the injectors and I realize that my injectors are rated at 850 and 1300. Both those values are 100 more than my actual values. I have 750 and 1200 injectors. Would that be the cause of me running rich?

Injector duty is only 4.xx at idle.

My question regarding changing the fuel injector sizes on the PFC is, if I change the numbers, would that mess up the tune I currently have? I'm trying to drive the car without problems, but I don't want to make it run too lean that I'd detonate.

Thanks for all the help so far guys!!!

I might be pulling this out my ***, but would the TPS also cause cranking problems too?

Would the ignition harness reverse cause problems?

For instance:

The 3 plugs on the coil packs themselves. If I accidentally put the blue plug on the left coil (trailing), and the white plug on the right coil (trailing), would that cause problems?

I'm inclined to believe that if the PFC thinks your injectors are larger than they actually are, it also thinks that more fuel is being injected than actually is. You should call your tuner.

I gave Ray Wilson a call at Peter Farrell Super cars and he said that it shouldn't matter that much, he mentioned some specifics and said that the injector sizing on the PFC would only be effected if it were on a base map. The rest of what he said went in one ear and out the other, lol

>.>

Right now, I'm telling myself that I have the ignition harness plugs reversed and that's causing the problem, and I hope I'm right.

Can anyone verify that for me though>

Runs smooth as a bitch =D

To conclude this thread, the front and rear trailing plugs cannot be reversed. The white plug HAS to be on the front trailing coil, black HAS to be on the leading, and blue HAS to be on the rear trailing coil. You cannot reverse the plugs on the ignition harness.

Just a note to anyone that tries to search this in the future, I wasn't able to find any of these, but I used some key words that I used to search =P

Seriously... don't do that to me again. Good job figuring out the problem and fixing it.

I hope that engine I built works out well for you... to ensure it does, please make sure you've got all your electrical and coolant connections secure before taking it out. Don't let your anticipation get the better of you.
