Crampy ****-pit?
What are the chances of a 6'3 male (myself) fitting into the FD? I just about, and I mean just about fit into an FC. What can be done to make it a little more spacious?

I'm 6' 4" and 240 lbs and it fits me like a glove, with no sunroof anyway. still have enough headroom for a helmet too
I would agree with this too:

Can you guys which are over 6 feet take a pic of your selves in your fd's with or without a helmet on? With a helmet, me being 5'7" I fit nearly perfectly in there with the helmet pretty much touching the top of the roof. Do you guys lean all the way back or something?

Maybe aftermarket seat(s) such as Sparco, Momo, ect,......will sit a little lower and have a thinner back rest allowing to sit further towards the rear , obtaining a more comfortable feel? Just my .02

There is no good answer. Torso/Leg length, how upright your seat is, helmet, haircut, sunroof, racing seats, aftermarket steering wheel are all variables.
I'm 6'1 and I wouldn't want to be one inch taller. My brother is 6-3.5 and he barely fits - couldn't do a long drive with it.
I have to be deliberate getting my right leg under the steering wheel, my brother actually needs to take extra steps to get his leg by.
Just drive one - any FD will do and you'll find out quickly. Remember an R1/R2 will fit differently from a touring (sunroof).

Okay guys, while we're on the topic of proper occupant fitment and comfort zone kind of thing with our beloved FD.....I've got one for you all. How do you stop the steering wheel from rubbing on the *****? I happen to have a very large pp and it's really begining to bother me especially when I have to make a turn. Do I (A). Buy a much smaller aftermarket steering wheel. Or (2) Attach a 10 pound weider weight to my bad boy for to keep it facing down and out of the way. Or (IV). Stop driving in the nude.....Or finally....Get plenty of Pshyco therapy to help me deal with my pathological fabrications?. all in good fun!

Actually Mazda's aerodymacists DEPRESSED the CENTER of the roof to reduce aerodynamic BUFFETING on the rear hatch area.

im 6'1, 85kg... its pretty tight in there! you will have to have a style to go in and out from the 7... mine is a RHD so maybe its different?!? I wish they could install an adjustable steering wheel to make it easier to go in & out.

I'm just under 5 foot 7 myself.....and my helmet hits the headliner near the window frame and easily hits the headliner above my head. I would guess if my short little legs would let me get further back from the wheel, I would have more headroom...
