CPU#2 Uncertainty

Evening all.
I have recently acquired a Japanese imported1994 rx7.
There is an issue with my power windows and seatbelt buzzer. I have noticed money other 94s also have this issue.
After doing some research on the forum I went to pull CPU#2 out of the car to repair it myself. (Mazda quoted me $2400 to get a new one from japan)
Upon looking at the CPU I noticed it was a cream color. It was still labelled F100. I have not seen any other pictures of the unit as per below. They have all been black.
As I am still learning and plan to treasure this thing, I wanted to check with people that will can confirm that it is CPU#2 before I take it out and find out that it was wrong.

This doesn't look like any I saw in my research.
I plan to pull out CPU#2 and fix any ruined solder.

That's the fuse box, not the CPU2 in the picture.

I know on JDM cars it's somewhere a little different than US cars. It may be behind that kick panel on the right side of the picture or behind the kick panel on the other side.

Regardless it will look like pictures you have seen of it.

The power windows is most likely the window switch, CPU2 doesn't do anything with the power windows.

Contrary to what Dale is saying above, the FD3 window power is routed through CPU2 via the black/red and white/blue wires in the picture below.

I am having similar issues and have taken my CPU2 apart. I have not moved forward with any repairs yet. Have you figured out the issues with yours yet ParraZach?

The CPU2 is under the dash more and closer to you than the fuse block

this is what the CPU2 looks like. the circled connector is power in and out for the window switches. Black/Red is power in (have yet to figure out exactly where from. White/Blue is out to the drivers window switch.

this is CPU2 out and starting to be disassembled.

this is inside the main board for CPU2. the solenoid on the bottom right of the board is what is controlling the power to the window switches. it allows power to go through when the key is on.

these are the damaged traces on the main board of CPU2.

Is that what the issue is? I'm worried that the traces are bad. I haven't done any more indepth testing. It's my buddy's car. I'm just the mechanic.

It could be the traces too. I had to repair a few traces on mine as well. I would clean it with alcohol as best you can and replace the caps and start there. You can also just put a multimeter across the traces that look bad to make sure there is continuity.
