Show us your drawing '5k1llz'
Got bored today and made this... I had to flip between Adobe Illustrator (drawing) and Flash (color) and Quark (for printing purposes) to complete the image. And it seems that from throwing the image through so many different programs a few things became distorted... but otherwise, I'm satisfied with it. (it distorted the black mouldings around the front wheel well. The spacing went a little whack.
Enjoy!
Oh, and if any of you fanatics want this picture, or any other rx-7 picture blown up to astranomical sizes (for a poster, maby?) I can do it here at school. I made a few of my sketch today... They turned out really well... But they say "MAZDA ROTARY-POWERED RX-7" underneath the car.
Anyway... perhapse some of you will share your sketches/drawings/etc?
Enjoy!

I applaud your efforts. Doodling cars is always fun
If you don't mind some friendly criticism, your scale fore-aft seems different than your height scale. That is, the cars are taller than they should be for their length, almost as though they're stretched.
This is especially apparent in the cockpit; you're showing short doors with the steering wheel close to the seat.
The above is not meant to offend, it's an observation. I like the direction you're going in and hope you keep drawing fine machines!

Thanks. I am always trying to improve my skills, and compared with what I started out doing, what i posted is phenominal, but after looking at them again, I think you're right about the aspect ratio being incorrect (especially on the 'Vette; good lord that looks odd, after just seeing a real one drive by my house). On a side note, most of those were done in my German 1 class two years ago.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
357, are you gonna be designing some sort of car as your career?
You seem to be able to do it really well. I really like those pictures.
Today I drew an FD, but it was a copy of an image i've seen on the board before that someone made in photoshop. But oh well. I suck at cars, I'm better at things that aren't completely symetrical.

Wattz: Well, I do hope to go into automotive engineering, and the current crop of cars does have some really ugly machines in it, but i'm currently looking more at engine design, but who knows, maybe i'll end up in styling, or aerodynamics, or something...

Heh, heh, no prob. Actually, come to mention it, one of my dreams is to design (maybe not every part; i may outsource some of it) the "perfect" family sedan (i know this is odd, but it's a long story rooted in my family's experience buying our '01 passat). Possibly even start my own company to do so. Who knows; I'm still only a senior in high school, so I'll have to see what's ahead. Thanks for the support!
