Cool, any prefs on the beer/pizza?
Does anyone know of a bright blue FD with what looked like a 99 conversion strolling around NoVA? Saw it by Springfield Mall today. Aftermarket hood too.

Well, if someone searches and finds this in the future, here is the cost of labor quoted by Redlands Mazda to swap in a new rear hub/wheel bearing assembly: $160 labor + $140 parts. Not much related to the fun you guys are going to be having, but here it is anyway.

I'm interested in meeting up with you guys at the same time. I'll be installing a shifter also and would like to meet some local FD owners. I live in Reston.

You need to do the install yourself.

IMO, installing and working on my FD as half the fun of owning it. Its sort of like the old british sports cars that my parents talk fondly of.

Get some tools, spend some time on it, and learn something about the machine you are driving. You will find it very rewarding.

It could be FD3boost's car. We can knock that exhaust out friday night at my place. I get off work around six. You bring the beer I have the tools. Do you plan on going to the fest on Sunday?

You can reach me at 703.980.9439

Exhaust is pretty simple you shouldn't have any problem installing that your self. Have you delt with RP before i'm interested in knowing about them for the future.

Wink

That's most likely Dave's car. (FD3Boost). He's the only 99blue color I've seen around. I'm in Waldorf MD. I can't make it to NJ for rotorfest, but a couple of us FD owners are meeting at my place to go down to the NOPI drag show on Sunday. If you're gonna have a beer and pizza hang on Friday, let me know! Brian

P.S. The pettit short throw is ok, I snapped the first one in half!!! Cam sent me a replacement

Im down for hanging on friday but unfortunatly my car has an extended date with RP. She is running really rich and we are trying to troubleshoot the cause. The bad news is her compression on the front rotor is low , might be time to start the death march on this 13B. But Im down, I can bring the beer...just let me know what you want. (703) 928-3566. I will probably be showing up in my *bleep*box 3000gt though.

I don't think the B&M shifters sold retail have gaskets, either. I just used some high-temp. RTV.
