Cooling problem..

I went through a couple pages of peoples cooling problems, but I couldnt quite find one that matches my problem,

I drove my FD pretty hard one day, I heard a bubbling over by the intake, opened up the radiator, the antifreeze was bubbling hardcore(did it after a half hour), and it was brown(looked like it had rust in it). One of my buddies filled it up with some water, I drive about 15miles again(to check to see if its a reoccurring problem), I go get a bite to eat, and there is TONS of water/coolant that came out of the bottom, the car was still extremely hot after about an hour of letting it cool down.

Does this mean I have to flush the cooling system? or is it possible I have a bad coolant seal(god I hope not), Mind you I drove it very mildly today, and had no problems with it leaking, just overheated a bit. Any constructive feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

When your coolant boils like that, you're screwed.

Yeah, been there done that ...maybe be too late but if you're lucky you can prolong it. Replace t-stat, pressure test for hose leaks and/or replace water hoses (most like are: 2 to turbo and 1 from block to throttle body & possibly 1 under uim). Flush coolant and replace with evans if you can afford it because it has a higher boiling point and you are obviously boiling and you can run a zero psi cap which is good if you can't find the cracked hose or leak that you possible have. add one bottle of alumaseal if you have an aluminum radiator (don't use copper seal). Make sure all air is removed from system: fill overflow, ast then filler neck with the hose to the throttle body disconnected and upwards for air to excape. Do the fan mod or drive with a/c or heater on to run the fans. Buy and install a water temp guage!
