Exclamation the cooling gremlin strikes again!

put in new engine coolant level is fine when on the highway but when you get to stop and go traffic and lights the low coolant buzzer goes off eliminated the ast and the same problem is there but now the overflow over flows when the thermostat opens just put a koyo radiator in too needing ideas any idea would be helpful

Usually it's the AST that causes problems.... But it seems that your system is dumping coolant into the overflow tank (like it's supposed to) but lacks the ability to retrieve it.

You may need to replace your radiator cap, get a mazda one. Or you may have a pin size hole in one of your hoses. Think about drinking water through a straw that has a hole in it... That's what may be happening with your coolant.

Hope this helps.
