Cooling Fan Relays..Does anyone know physically which is which under the hood?

I know the location of the cluster of 4 relays, but would like to find out which relay is in what position. I remember seeing someone post up a picture of the engine bay with the relays numbered but cant seem to find it anymore,
Can someone assist me please

You probably want to check the wiring. It's possible the relays have had their positions swapped over time, the colors in the wiring is the best way to be certain.

I'm not sure this system needs to be this complicated. I've thought of simplifying it to, "Is the water temp 85C? Yes? Fans on full blast until it's 84C again." That's it.

It gets more complicated when you factor in AC. They always run at low with the AC on, you need continuous airflow over the condenser or you have AC that doesn't work when stopped at a light.

Also nice having the 3 speeds so you don't have a big electrical draw all the time.

And then there are people like me whose confidence in things electric end at the wall socket. I’m just afraid to venture away from factory wiring and the FSM.

This is a JDM FD. Do you know is the wire color at the relays are the same as the US model? I know the wires on the fans are different colors.

Not sure. I haven't gotten that deep into the JDM fans.
