Coolant Temp Sensor locations...

Are there more than one? Why would my stock gauge read differently then my PFC? Do they get there reading from a different sensor?

I would not trust the stock temp gauge. I have a PFC commander and another autometer water temp gauge. I get aroung 83 to 91 degrees celcius on my pfc and about 180 to 200 on my autometer. While these two gauges show this temp my stock gauge is only about 1/3 of the way up. So by the time the stock gauge goes in the red your engine is done. What kind of temps do you run with your pfc? Also I have the stock radiator in the stock location and I just added an AST elimination kit.

I have been around and have had the car long enough to know that the stock gauge is innacurate, but even from what your saying the PFC gives you a good idea what your engine temp is...

I need to know if the PFC and Stock Temp Gauge get the input from different sensors or not, because I am showing different temperatures on each gauge.

Would a wire disconnected from the thermoswitch cause high temps?

I would think that the PFC gets it's temp reading from the coolant temp sensor, located on the back of the water pump housing. The stock temp gauge gets it's input from a sensor in the rear end plate, near the driver's side firewall.

What sensor sits in the position the arrow is pointed to? and what is the one below it?

One is the thermoswitch (tells the relays when to turn the fans on) and the other is the coolant temp sensor (tells the computer what the engine temp is). IIRC, the thermoswitch is the bottom one.
