Coolant temp and level sensor thread sizes...

Does anyone happen to know what size hole and thread pitch are required to mount a coolant temperature sensor and coolant level sensor?

I need to mount one of each on my water pump to drive my stock gauges, and I don't have the sensors (yet) or a 13B-REW water pump to take measurements from.

Thanks!

Bump

Sorry Jim, I don't know the answer. My GUESS would be that they are the same size as the oil drain plug. I don't have the size for that with me, but may be able to get it later if you want it.

My sensors are on the way, but I wanted to make sure I had the right tap on hand. My set of tap and dies doesn't have much above M12.

If you have a tap that fits the drain plug, that's probably it. It's an odd size. Do you have an extra drain plug lying around?

It's been a long time since I've had any rotary engine parts laying around.

The coolant temp sensor is 1/8-in. NPT (BSP will also work). Not sure on the other.

For the stock temperature sensor behind the rear rotor.....from my website:

The tap required to do this is a M10 1.00 pitch. That is a very very fine pitch for a hole that big and is a rather obscure size. The drill size required it a 24/64" or 9.1mm which was also hard to find so I just used a 11/32" which was 1/64" off but worked well.
