Coolant over-flow volume?

Does anyone happen to know how much volume our Coolant over flows hold? I broke mine...and want to have a replacement made...but need to know about how much room I should make for expansion etc. I'm using a Smart water 2 liter bottle right now...and It seems to be working just fine... just trying to get a solid idea. Thanks much!

I think it's just under 1.5 liters to the bottom of the neck. Don't quote me, though.

I've tried a 1.0L bottle to check that the system was filling and draining the bottle, and it got over 0.5L but never looked much more than 0.75L.

I dont think you need anything too large since this is a track/street car you will be constantly checking fluids anyway. I would just use something that is about .75 to 1 liter.
