Quick question. Anybody know of, heard of , or have urethane coolant o-rings. Mine are slowly but surely going. Also thinking of sealing the coolant system with ceramic coat. Holla Back!!!:

don't race, don't need to
A reasonably good source of O-ring info would be a race shop, such as Pineapple or Mazdatrix or Pettit or KD Rotary or... you get the picture.
These guys have tried more O'ring materials that anyone, and they know what works.

Pineapple and KDR are not selling their o-rings. I called them last summer about it. They only use it on the engines the build/rebuild.
Pineapple might be having them produced to sell later on. That's what the guy on the phone told me.
They have the silicon o-rings that are ecapsulated by teflon I think.
Try McMasters. They have them. But you need the specs for the orings (inner diameter, outter diameter, etc.)
Good luck.

When my engine was rebuilt at 78K miles due to the o-ring failure, the new o-rings were wrapped in the heat shield that Mazda used to put on them. I forget whether that was in the 1st or 2nd gen cars, or both. Rick Soderberg had a set sitting on his shelf. Don't know even if they're still available.
