Coolant Linearize Uninstall?

I just installed the coolant gauge linearization mod.

If I wanted to remove it in the future, can I just unplug the pot assembly, or do I also need to go thru the hassle of removing the gauge pod and clip the jumper?

Thanks...

You'll need to remove the jumper you installed behind the temp gauge... It's probably to late for this advice, but I ran a long jumper to a place under the dash that I could reach, and cut the jumper if I wanted to remove the "mod"

Damn. I thought about doing something like that when I was soldering the jumper in, but then I said "nah, this is a great mod, I'll never want to take it out". I guess my main complaint about the guage now is how it registers low temperatures - ie it doesn't.

Instead of adjusting the gauge to calibrate it so 250' F points to "H".

Try this.........

I adjusted it so during normal cruise (81-83' C) it points to the the "C" (second line from the bottom).

I basicly maxed out the pot.

If the temps get above 90'C the gauge is now in the middle, at 100'C it's towards the top. My fans kick on at 95'C so I rarely see anything over 100' C
