coolant leaking

Just started my car this morning and noticed drips of coolant on the ground after i got out.
After further review I noticed that the coolant was coming from the connection below the filler neck, where the rubber hose is attached.
the metal clamp that attaches the two is snug.
what would make the coolant back up and leak from this connection?
please help!

make sure the clamp is behind the barb, if its on the barb it can still come back out from the hose. also check for leaks on the actual hose
