Coolant Burning - Which Drops Reservior or Fill Neck?

If my car is using coolant...which will I notice a drop in first? the Reservoir or the Fill neck after shutdown?

I always check the fill neck and its always pretty full but today I checked the Resevoir and it was BONE dry WTF!

I replaced all hoses every last one on the car...could this be from not burping the system properly? it fooled me into thinking the entire system was full when it wasnt?

car doesnt burn any water cannot smell antifreeze or see any vapor and it doesnt run hot or overflow ever

When you fill up your cooling system, remove the hose off of the throttle body. Top off the AST (put the proper cap on the AST) fill up the fill neck (by the air pump) place proper cap on the fill neck. Now place a finger over the tube on the TB and gently squeeze the top radiator hose till coolant comes out of the TB hose you took loose. Remove finger from the TB tube and top off the fill neck again. Place finger over the hose you took loose from the TB and gently squeeze the top radiator hose till coolant comes out of the TB tube. You've now removed as much air as you possibly can without the funnel people use to burp their system. Now after you once again top off the fill neck and put the proper cap back on it. Fill you recovery tank to the fill mark (cold engine) Your coolant should never be below the low level mark on the recovery tank dip stick when the engine is cold. If you run it dry (below the low mark) it will pull back in air and you will have to re burp the system. It shouldn't take more than a couple heat cycles of the engine before the fill neck and AST should stay full right to the lip (if that's how full you keep them)
