coolant alarm started going off

yesterday for no reason. "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" (without the end) is all I hear as soon as I turn the car to on (pre crank). Checked the thermostat wire, it's connected. Tried grounding it too. ANd yes, I have full coolant.

If no one has an idea, can someone at least tell me how to turn off the ******* sound?

The coolant level sensor will sound off if A) coolant is low ( and it is NOT, correct ? ) and B) the wiring circuit is open.

You say you grounded it. Did you go to the black single wire connector at the front fender side of dipstick area where there is a Black wire connecting to a Brown/white wire and ground the Brown/white wire ? If you disconnected the connector and grounded the brown and white wire and the buzzer still continues with key on - let me know. We will proceed to step 2.

coolant is fine. I'll dick with it tomorrow morning, kinda dark and I'm enjoying a few beers at home. I'll go check what you said first thing.

I had to rebuild mine too. For a while my coolant was fine, and then I noticed it went down a little. I was leaking coolant into my exhaust a little bit at a time so I didn't notice it for a while.

okay, my 2 thoughts at this point-

had some electrical issues during shipment of my car, and I think my cluster is jacked - odometer is out (showing parts of numbers, non responsive to trip reset button), oil pressure is at bottom (I know these go out), and the obvious warning light I've been talking about.

Or maybe the coolant level sensor is done. I'll have to trip up to Rp tomorrow to get a new one.

Are you going to take care of it yourself now, or do we need to proceed ?
