Convince me

Hey all, well I've been lurking at this forum for a little bit. Basically I'm thinking about getting into an FD. I'm in the hunt and this car tops my list. I haven't test driven one yet but I've been in a couple and from what I can tell, I'm really interested. So what I'm hoping for now is if some members might be able to tell me about their cars and the best points about them that someone wouldn't be able to know from reading the specs; I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

If you need someone's opinions just to get you interested, I don't think you'd be happy with the car as soon as your first problem occurs.

It's a love-hate relationship.

Test drive one, you won't need any words to convince you.

I was sold the 1st time I felt 8K RPMs. If you want to talk yourself out of it drive an automatic, want to be hooked drive a 5spd (that's what did me in)

If you have the money they are fun cars, gotta pay to play!

this comes up like five times a week on the forum. You should be put on forum probation if you come on here and ask for us to make a decision for you. READ AND LEARN- MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS! Thats what I think should happen since this is a tell me what to do thread.

Thanks for the comments. I can see how this question gets frustrating for some of the regulars here and that is understandable, I apologize for that; but there's no need to trip. I just asked to know what people liked best about their cars, not what I should do; that's all I'm saying. But I'm set to drive one pretty soon so maybe next time I'm here, I can participate with more conviction.
