constant solinoid clicking

has this ever happened to anyone? the solinoid for the apex-avcr constantly is opening and closing and the boost reading is WAY off. it all started today after i washed my car. the hood has an opening above the abs (for cooling) and i think water may be my problem as the solinoid and transducer are both very close to this opening. hopefully it is. maybe just because it is wet, something is not working properly. it has been installed for almost 2 years with no such problems. the only thing that has ever acted up on it, was the solinoid would not open and close and i would only get about 5 lbs of boost. this happened 2 times in the past and each time it was after i washed the car. the problem cured itself each time after about a hour. but the reading for boost/vac was never off before. could it be that my map sensor is bad, and it just so happened to "go" right after i washed the car? can you buy just solinoid from apex? like replacement parts if that is whats wrong.
just asking for any input, suguestons, or ideas of wtf is wrong.
thanks inadvance.

note: it has only been about 2 hrs since it started and it is raining out right now.
