Considering move to Z06 in Spring, my FD apprasial?
I have a WRX to get rid of as well as this FD and i'm not quite sure "what it's worth", it's a 1994 chastle white w/ 64k on the odometer, engine appears to have been remanned at some point, has no known drivability/suspension/chassis issues and after many misc fixes and routine maintenence proves to be 100% mechanically sound at this point in time, pulls 16 inches of vacuum @ no electrical load low idle
black leather interior i'd give a 9 out of 10, exterior is definately a 10 out of 10 because i just had some paint work done and had the entire car wheeled out, could use some new wheels, chrome is chipping in a few places, mods are intake/downpipe/aluminum ast/1997 JDM transmission/Exedy clutch/5% window tint, otherwise stock, tune up just performed (plugs/wires/o2 sensor), has an aftermarket mp3 cd player (with level adapter) and comes with stock stereo stuff, glass sunroof... it's a touring model
what do you guys think?

MI actually has a fairly high-priced market for FDs compared to many other areas. If you're not in a rush to get rid of it, the right buyer should probably come around and offer you a pretty penney for it. A friend of mine up in Michigan just sold his (stock 94 chaste white, 70k miles) for about 17k. It took him about 4 months to sell it at that price (he was asking 18k).

I'll ask him, but I'm pretty sure he ran an ad for a few weeks in Autotrader, and in Hemmings. He may have also put it up on ebay once or twice. But none of those really came up with any (serious) hits. The way he ended up selling it is by putting a FS sign in the car and driving it to local cruise-ins on the weekends. Eventually some one saw it, and offered him 17 for it.

I'd say at least $15k.
In June, I sold my last FD for $15k with the following specs:
- 93 red/tan touring
- 120k miles on chassis
- 10k mile on rebuilt motor
- very nice fresh paint with MS replica vented hood
- PFC, Blitz SMIC, boost controller, DP, RB cat back
- ACT S/S clutch
- some other minor mods that i'm forgetting
- full documentation since new
Car was *ultra* clean and trouble free. Took me almost 2 months to sell. I advertised on cars.com exclusively. I got my fair shar of lowballers and idiots but it eventually made it's way to a nice home. I miss that car....

oh and don't put it out on the market too soon. you really get lowballed if the car is out there a while. people think there is something wrong with it.
spring time is a great time to sell a sports car.
