Compression Test Results

did a compression test with analog gauge. it showed low results, the gauge was hitting bit over 6bar thats about 90psi what almost caused me to panic but i guess my battery was not charged very well because it didnt crank that hard and when we tested second rotor the engine barely cranked at all showing 4bar thats about 60psi i gues at that compression my rotor would already be blown. does cranking speed affect compression that hard?

Why is searching so hard for people?

cranking rpm is very important when testing compression.
if u use the mazda rotary compression tester it actually has a read out for rpm.
the poor mans test (like the one u performed) is never considered to be all that acurate.

why are u testing the vehichles compression?
are u having issues or just curious?

I just got my car from japan and it has problems with secondary turbo. I just wanted to make sure the engine was ok.

We tested with piston engine tester. on first rotor it showd abot 90psi even with not that good cranking. Thats a good result for regular tester isn't it? i'm not even counting second rotor test as battery completely died during that.

also, what if i dont remove circuite relay? how will this affect the test?
