Compression

Alright I have already searched the archive and I couldnt find anything in there so here we go... I am picking up a 3rd gen rx7 I havent seen it yet and the guy is delivering it from northern cali. I had him do a compression test on it and he said on the phone that all sides of the rotors were between 140-150, in a email he sent me before he called me he said all sides of the rotors were between 140-155. The book says the maximum allowable variation from rotor too rotor is 21 psi. Does this mean the motor is at half life??? Is it normal or what... All my 1st gens I have been messing with I just worried about having compression not how much of it I had...

max compression is around 120 PSI i think, so he is just telling you that to make you feel better.
