Question Complete oil change anyone do it?(drain also the oil radiator)

Does anyone drain also the oil radiator when changing the oil?
If yes any tips for me?

Mazda say that the oil quantity for the oil change is about 3.5 liters and 3.8 Liters with the oil filter. But say also that the total engine oil is 5.6 Liters. It's mean that when we change the oil we still have about 2 liters of old oil.

Thanks

Oil is stranded inside the rotors as well as the cooler(s) and all the lines and eshaft. I’ve never bothered to drain my coolers as part of routine maintenance. But it is one of the reasons I change oil a little more frequently.
I do give it extra time to let it drain and drip from the oil pan.

Pop off an oil cooler line and you may get another 1/2 qt out. Personally I don't feel its worth it.

not worth it

change your oil very frequently and it won't matter. Hell, i don't even change the filter, as i change the oil every few hours or run time or less

Doing proper oil changes every 3000 miles with a decent oil and filter is really all you need. Doing something exotic won't do anything special for your motor.

Oil coolers drained and clean up every oil change? No, but it doesn’t hurt to do it once in a while. I found a oil sludge on both of my oil coolers. I changed the oil filter and oil every 2500 miles. If you had never done it, do it and find out for yourself.

Sludge is an indication of either poor quality oil, overheating of the oil, or not changing the oil frequently.
A good synthetic oil can solve that problem. Idemitsu!

Thanks to evrebody,
I use Royal Purple 10W40 and OEM oil filter. change oil less than 3000km (2000 miles or something)
The problem is that I don't use often the car, so the oil sometimes is old, not used.

Red94FD, next time i will try and I will let Know evrybody what i find ;-)
