Comparing 93 and 95 5sp tranny?

Comparing 93 and 95 5sp tranny?
Hey I know both tranny is the same, but what I don't know is that what change's did mazda did to the 95 tranny, I need to know if they change the 5th gear snycro and other parts? thanks,

The 5th gear synchro and the shift select spindle were upgraded on the cars with VINs greater than JM1FD332*P210508 (1992 late cars). 94 and 95 trannys has the mods recalled by Mazda.
This problem was addressed in the Service bulletin #001/94

For what it's worth, I just had the original 5th gear synchro replaced in my '94. It was covered under warranty. The replacement piece had larger teeth on it. So I think there was an upgrade after production, when it became apparent that original parts were not as well-engineered as they could have been.
